Redefining recovery
When it comes to substance use disorder, recovery isn't a singular milestone. It's a practice.
For some, the journey toward recovery starts with harm reduction: staying safer while building trust and readiness. For others, it begins after a major transition like inpatient treatment or incarceration, when the work of rebuilding daily life begins. For many, it's an lifelong effort to maintain progress amidst daily pressure.
For all - recovery takes community.
At Common Ground Recovery Partners, we partner with people at every point along the recovery continuum, working alongside trusted providers, family members, and employers to create a system that meets people where they are with the resources and support they need.
Common Ground Recovery Partners was founded by Mike McLaughlin, a Philadelphia-area addiction professional with a decade of experience working at every level of the recovery system - from homeless and crisis outreach on the streets of Kensington to drug and alcohol counseling and public health program management.
